Revenue operations and enablement is finally getting its due.
While the world attempts to “return to normal,” debating whether the office is the most efficient place to get business done, companies are faced with record-low unemployment (read: this is a job-seekers’ market!) and ever-shifting professional norms. Add to all this extreme economic uncertainty, supply-chain issues, and political crises the world over, and it’s no wonder C-Suite executives are increasingly leaning on revenue operations and enablement leaders to keep the trains running on time. Through the discovery and adaptation of new technologies to add to the stack — while also cutting out the fat of older, newly irrelevant technologies — these wizards behind the curtains of enterprise are rebuilding systems, sometimes from the ground up, to support the agility, stability, and growth required to succeed in a post-pandemic world that seems to be ever under threat.
Earlier this year, The Modern Sale and Collective[i] recognized the Top 100 Global Sales Leaders of 2022, highlighting exceptional sales leadership. The Top 100 Revenue Operations Leaders list acknowledges the trailblazers who are sourcing, testing, designing, and executing the revenue infrastructure of this chaotic new world order.
This year, as with every prior year, we are honoring pioneers and trailblazers in revenue operations and enablement. People like Sid Kumar, SVP, Revenue Operations at HubSpot, a major player in educating businesses on sales and revenue operations. Through his leadership, Sid’s up-and-coming go-to-market strategy and operations company is literally disrupting the CRM space. We also have professionals such as Shea Foley Wesolowski, SVP, Sales Enablement at Wells Fargo, who is breaking the glass ceiling in more ways than one: not only is Shea a woman in a male-dominated space, she is also that rare example of a senior executive in the very new arena of sales enablement. But she’s not alone. Read on to learn about Ping Del Giudice, VP, Global Revenue Operations at AppViewX, and formerly worked at a blockchain company – a burgeoning industry we rarely (if ever) see on this list. Always one to give back to her community, Ping is also a mentor at First Round Fast Track, where established tech operators pass on their knowledge to early-stage entrepreneurs. Also showing up for the first time on this list is Kathleen Nevells, VP, IFP Sales Operations, at UnitedHealthcare. The insurance industry, as this list surely underscores, has been critical in the post-pandemic world. And the list of inspiring leaders goes on.
These 100 professionals were selected from a pool of thousands of applicants based on the breadth and depth of their experience, their overall contribution to the revenue operations and enablement profession, and their ability to adapt, innovate, and embrace the technologies of the modern sales organization. In association with Collective[i], The Modern Sale is proud to present the Top 100 Revenue Operations Leaders of 2022.
